Elliot Goldberg Joins Gilford Securities’ Philadelphia Office

PHILADELPHIA, PA--(Marketwire – Jan 03, 2012) - Gilford Securities Incorporated is pleased to announce that Elliot Goldberg has joined the Philadelphia branch as Managing Director. He will report to Jeremy Hare, Managing Director - Philadelphia.

Prior to joining Gilford Securities, Mr. Goldberg was, from 2004 to 2011, President and Principal of Goldata Financial, an investment advisory firm offering investment strategies to help individuals, corporations and trusts attain their financial goals. From 1975 through 2004, he was president and head technologist at Goldata Computer Services, Inc. which provided custom software and hardware solutions to the financial industry. Prior to that, he was employed by Anistics, an insurance consulting firm, as a computer programmer/analyst and by General Electric as a programmer.

Mr. Goldberg graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1974 with a B.S. in Mathematics and a minor in computer science. He became an Investment Advisor in 2005.
